Hey You

Hey You

written by: Dido Fik

Hey you,
Great Woman, Yes you
I am talking to you
Do you know how great you are?
Do not be afraid of what others say
Release your inhibition and break away
You are greater than their gossips
Greater than their hate
Greater than their opinions
Greater than their plaques.
Hey you,
Brave Woman, Yes you
I am talking to you
Do you know how brave you are?
You are braver than your scars
Braver than your pain
Braver than your hardships
Braver than your heartaches.
Hey You,
Beautiful Woman, Yes you
I am talking to you
Do you know how beautiful you are?
Don’t let anyone steal your spark
Don’t shrink yourself to fit in their tiny box
Don’t let anyone sketch and draw your path
Own your story because you are a star
Now get your pen and paper and write your own plot
