whilst wisps of memories harken back
to days of lore and nights before
Of moments missed, a summers kiss
of winters frost
of love and loss
A pause, a sigh
emotions fly
free to wander search and find
The hidden gems that hide inside
that speak to life and reasons why
my heart sublime still beats in time
