not a treasured girl
or a wanted boy
gender bending
from the get go
'Tomboy' worked
long, long ago

woman, man,
masculine, feminine
feminine, masculine
soft butch
i'm all of these

not transgender
not femme
not a stone butch
gender fluid,
in-between genders,
seems so close

woman, man, child,
all three exist in me
no one word,
explains what i am
accept, possibly,

no name
was needed
to be
