Journeying long and far to where the great lands of east and west eventually meet,
On that fateful day the whole world lay calmly and obediently at her impatient feet;

Staring fixedly across the narrow divide of turbulent dark water,
She whispered, ‘Tomorrow is the day I’m coming home for you my only daughter.’
