Labyrinth

In recent years my step is hushed, a whispered tread,
Through winding walls of mystery.
The air imbued with secrets kept,
A dance of truth and reverie.

Through twists and turns, I seek my way,
Through highs and lows, I face the tests.
In labyrinthine nights and days,
My soul’s true nature is assessed.

With a heavy heart, I choose the labyrinth, to step away from strife,
I shield my well-being, I have planted peace within my life.
For in labyrinth embrace,
I find the strength to navigate life’s intricate space.

My choice is firm, my mind made up, I seek a fresh terrain,
To weave my fate, to heal and mend, to find my light again.
For in transition, a sparkle ignites to ease the paths I’ve trod,
Ensuring life’s continuum, within its grand façade.

Through twists and turns, I sought my way,
Through highs and lows, I faced the tests.
In labyrinthine nights and days,
My soul’s true nature is now assessed.

I hope you understand, my friends, this is not a choice in vain,
I cherish life, its tender gift, but now, I must refrain.
My spirit longs to be set free, to mend and to revive,
And so, I bid you all adieu, as from life, I take my dive.
