Light Pages of Sunny Tales

Light pages of sun tales depose
on the textured surface
you lay your black-inked words.

The night, announced by shadows of surrounding ideas and things
stays in the way of your hard silence strings;
I, remembering you, …how gifted and lucky I was
to know love and kindness and learn how to hide
from burning to ashes powers of love!

They’re all full of hate, around here, and you wanted to know
how I am doing, and you wanted to help me out
but I’ll remain just as I prefer,
stuck in a world full of pink storks and blue ravens.
When did it turn this surreal?
