Without missing a heartbeat, I will take the lows with the highs
The endless tears and the far apart smiles
The silent screams echoing through the night
Because I know I will have you, even for just a while
That is how I love
It’s a never ending loop of choosing you day in and day out
Even when desperation keeps me bound
Even when hope is just a flickering light
A dying ember at the end of a dark tunnel
I would do it again…Choose you over and over
Even if I am not your forever.
I am a single mom to two teenagers, trying to keep my office survival in spite of the pandemic...writing poems has always been a passion for me...I scribble them down on little notes but still for my eyes only...writing poetry has been my outlet in letting go of emotions that tend to wear me down; it is also my constant companion when I find myself alone and waiting for someone or something. I was born in Angeles City, Philippines, with a degree in bachelor of science in accountancy.
