Little Things

It’s the little things.
Setting out my coffee mug in the morning before heading to work.
Putting my favorite game show on TV just as it starts.
Washing the dishes when it’s my turn because you see how tired I am.
Holding my hand when we are sleeping.
I know I am one of the lucky ones. Nobody in this world knows me like you do. You have the power to change my day with a simple smile or a touch. For you, it’s not about grand gestures. Your love is so evident. And I know just where to look.
