NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A technicolour, star-spangled sky, favouring cooler hues. Dark, transparent clouds decorate the expanse, creating contrast with the glowing white lunar orb in the center. The sky seems to ripple like water. The words of the haiku are superimposed over the center of the image in golden yellow, beveled lettering (created in Adobe Photoshop Elements).

I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
