Maelstrom

written by: L.M. Giannone

@LISAGNO

Looking everywhere
searching high and low
but it’s so hard to see
I don’t know where to go

You’re so far away
how do I find you?
don’t know where to look
I haven’t got a clue

Stronger grows the maelstrom
I’m powerless to save
losing strength to fight it
while you’re about to cave

I extend you my hands
but I’m quickly losing grip
you’re falling into the abyss
from me your hands slip
