My Relented Soul

written by: Cary Chrysler (skyinthegrass)

Today is April seventh.
I have the rest of the month
to write what I sense.

Or I could protect it,
out of some strange fear.
I could hide from you.

Guard my heart,
or surrender.

I must go in now.
Can't sit here any longer.

The setting sun,
demands my relented soul.

Just a man from northern California, living on a beautiful acre of high desert I call Goose Ridge.
