New Year

New Year

written by: Ann Christine Tabaka

One year ends
Another begins
This old earth
Turns and spins

New resolutions
To be made
Old restitutions
To be paid

Spirits soar
Ideas brew
Promises broken
Are made anew

Some parties
Are attended
Many friendships
Are mended

Another day
Goes swiftly by
Another chance
To give it a try

It is time
To move on
And to face
A new dawn
