Are you a tree that all poets try to climb?
Tall and strong with many published branches
With each poet striving hard to take a bough
Fruit that takes time to ripen each at a different pace
With seeds that grow as poets plant their thoughts
This tree that spawned so many great and new
Is there for all to let their talent grow

I'm a retired Civil Servant, I worked for the Ministry of Defence retiring at the age of fifty.
