Read And Know

written by: Lana Wesley

Read and know that I did not forget
What happened between us, no regrets,
How let we our love so gently flow.
Read that and know.

Read and know I was glad
That me as a delight you once had.
What was it for me let me here show,
Read that and know.

Read and know that I can see
You miss me and I think
You also keep all memories below.
Read that and know.

Read and know I care as well
Is your life good or feels like Hell?
Keep building it, no attention to a foe.
Read that and know.

Read and know I remember promises
And though we stay apart in loneliness,
Don't let the doubt inside you grow.
Read that and know.

Read and know I am still waiting,
Open the door and keep pretending
You standing there in the moon glow.
Read that and know.

Read and know I wish you to be happy
I won't be part of it but may be
I'll feel good knowing you are out of the sloe.
Read that and know.

Read and know it wasn't traceless
What outside can seem like senseless
Inside is screaming: "Don't let go".
Read that and know.

Read and know that I'm trying
Get over it, again start flying
And make my heart beat not so slow.
Read that and know.

Read and know it doesn't work,
Pain comes back like a sneaky shark,
Getting deeper every blow.
Read that and know.

Read and know I am so tired
Of all this suffering required
But I will find way out, I throw!
Read that and know.

Read and know despite it all
I wouldn't change the picture where we've drawn,
I'd go there and make time go slow.
Read that and know.

Read and know I did not change,
All of my feelings have same range,
No one will force me out of this throe.
Read that and know.

Read and know I never wanted
Our break up be with an anger haunted
But I don't need your sorry, keep your crown.
Read that and know.

Read and know I am not sure
Why I am telling you this truth,
Which lies in me so deep and low.
Read that and know.

Read and know I was in love
And still this feeling stands above.
Day by day I try to break this row.
Read that and know.

Read and know I will remember always
Every gentle kiss and every promise
No matter it was yesterday or happened long ago.
Read that and know.
