Self-Care
written by: Khaya Ronkainen
Oh, the city!
madness is gallant / self-care
without hashtags is imperative /
I once read poets / are by far
the most prone and vulnerable /
but I don’t need to be a poet
or a lover / to know that wild
imaginations / are not always
the grandest. / Every morn /
I take a stroll / and bypass
the lunatic asylum.
