Silver Bullets & Smiles on Fire

written by: James Dennis Casey IV

@LouisianaJames

thunderclaps
god’s hand

rain begins to fall

bells chime in
a masonic temple
grandfather’s past

roman pillars
an iron gate
secret rooms
upstairs

déjà vu
energy stays
moving on

in tune
in time

silver bullets
& smiles
on fire

who are we
really
but a series
of forgotten
moments
and false
memories

when little is left
to the imagination
of a past
unknown

on a linear
journey
with fingers
reaching
into parallel
dreams
