SLIPPERY WORDS

Your sweet voice spins around my head
While speaking slippery words
Flying in and out you said
Like multicolored birds
I say some things that feel so nice
And slide between your ears
Your mouth keeps moving faster
Talking more than what you hear
You speak in tongues of fantasy
Inside your velvet room
Your hands caress while I confess
The words that you consume
You’re never satisfied it seems
On this I can relate
As whispers turn to lovely screams
There’s nothing to debate
These sentences flow out your mouth
Like candy coated darts
The substance we can’t live without
And longing in our hearts
These slippery words like glue
Will bind our kisses to the night
And tie our tongues like ladder rungs
To feed our appetite
