Sounds in The Country

Humming…

Sounds and Cracks
On the dry ground
Bang on the roof as the
wind picks up and a branch comes down
Listen, hear, critters and none,
High notes, Low notes, and none
Cockatoos seeds hitting the tin roof, tap, tap, tap, tap…
Insects creeping along the stone walls,
Wasps of all kinds, frantically buzzing around as though
desperate for a place …
Beetle buzz and dash into windows, bouncing back and buzzing again,
No breeze
Ants around on the Ant Walk
Varieties are there, be careful where you step as they speedily dash from place to place
Hooting …. the Owl is back…
Tapping has finished until the New Dawn
Silence has come in a new form
Good night
