We met in a spark, and just like that, an aura of love bloomed
You were a mystery, and so was I, yet our energies aligned.
From that moment, we chose to love without condition,
To speak without intention, to give without reason,
And to care without expecting return.
I can’t lie, you had the best of me.
Every single moment we shared was worth it.
You were everything I needed, in that moment.
But who knows? Maybe fate will find a way back.
Some said I could do better, but with you, I’ve found my best.
All that you are is all I’ll ever need; your love is complete, it never fades.
What felt wrong, you made feel right,
Like turning red lights into blue lights.
I guess that’s the meaning of love.
Pure as a dove, deadly like a gunshot wound,
Brutal, but beautiful too.
I chose to be a lover, not a fighter,
I love you for seeing me, the pretty, the ugly, the stranger in between.
Our energy pulsed, stronger together, turning pain into pleasure.
I’ve always felt safe in your arms; that’s what kept me going.
Knowing you’d always be there kept me moving.
I’m grateful you understood me even when I didn’t understand myself.
No one knows what the future holds,
But let’s hold on to the moments we had,
And yes, I’ll miss those kisses, that left lip gloss on your cheek.
I hope you’ll miss me too, even after I leave.
And through it all, I’ll remember,
The dark, the bright and the blur of it all,
It’s the balance that keeps me in love,
And also, the balance that keeps me out of obsession,
Nothing is left for me to do, just know that,
Being with you is a joy I’ll never regret,
