A ‘Metronome Poem’

written by: Doug Donnan

‘The Poetic Patience of the Metronome’

If you are patient, in time, you will find time
To create a poem that is absolutely sublime

Patience a virtue, restivity but a fool’s crime
Time and times are ‘relative’ pen your poem

By the insouciant tic of a placid metronome,
\_/tic\_/tic\_/ word by word, and line by line!

\_/ \_/ \_/ \_/ \_/ End
