“Nana, Nana, Come out quickly
There’s something you must see
I found a lovely background
For a picture of Jake and me!
I shared my snowball with him
As his hands are very small
And he found it very tricky
To make a big snowball
Hurry on Nana cos its melting
And our hands are going to freeze
OK Jake… Are you ready?
Look at Nana and say Cheese!”

I am a retired teacher and photographer also. Having grown up a country girl I love spending time outdoors with my grandchildren, taking them to scenic places and sharing our beautiful natural surroundings with them. Nature and experiences shared with them inspire me to write.
