The Rubicon

written by: Daniel Lynskey

I've crossed the Rubicon
and there’s no going back,
I've ruined it for myself
And i only have myself to thank,
A bridge too far,
Once i went boldly
Where i'd never gone before,
But then i got greedy,
now i can't go there anymore.

I'm a nineteen year old writer from the Republic of Ireland, I enjoy writing everything from poetry to short stories, songs, movies or anything else I can imagine. Most of it gathers dust in my word documents.
