A thirst stirs for her words
A thirst to be submerged in her verse
Surging hurt
Poured into work
Her SOUL exposed
Her Whole, composed

The gravity of her ink
Pushing me into a sky, divided
Pulling me over the event horizon

The storm brewing within
Moving the pen
The passion bends
Capturing rapture and Sin
Desire is a fire
Decimating all that falls
Slow
Like floating ashes
In the calm of the wind’s pause
Before it inhales
Then expels an exhale
That spins a splendor of cinder
that has rendered Hell

I watch vicariously
Aware of the
evil that lurks
No longer carried in sleep
Perched & Alert
W/no pause
Never still, it stirs
Its cause will be served
