TIME IS MIRROR

The time will come
When time will be the history.
That time, time will ponder
On the intent and implementing gesture.
The time will ask then,
Why I was wasted.
The time will also inquire
Blissfully it could have been done.
The time moves on
As hands will stretch and will also embrace.
And the pendulum moves
Since, it has to move.
And in between this movement
Efforts are made.
Ideas are floated, executed
Successfully, or unsuccessfully.
The time records all
Calmly and smoothly.
And take my words
Time is everyone’s mirror.
Journalist by choice, but poet by passion. Hailing from Lucknow, India, this is how Khurram Nizami can be defined. Writing since childhood but getting published since college days, feels poem starts by itself and ends by itself. His poems have appeared on different poetic websites, anthology as well as leading newspapers. He was the student editor of his college (EWING CHRISTIAN COLLEGE) magazine at that time affiliated to Allahabad University better known as East of Oxford.
