Silence
written by: Dr. MOLLY JOSEPH
there
it came
silence
fluttering
softly
slowly
nesting
on my lyre
my
delicate
clay built
lyre..
like
a sweet
honey drop
falling
from
a song
long forgotten..
a sweet
sadness
throbbed
while
its golden
feathers
settled..
the nascent
buds
fostered,
fondled
by hope
swayed
to and fro
to survive..
even
the flower
on fence
pouting out
silence..
my
earth
in soulful
silence..
up from
the sky
silence
falls
like a
tear drop…
the tiny
sand pores
absorb
the silence
cosmic
complete..
