Tomorrow’s Caveats

All tomorrow’s are aligned with caveats
I’m aware of this because I think a lot
The trick in greeting a new sun ray
Is to do what’s well and good today
don’t have to be a hero on the march
That helps lots but it’s not a guaranteed
Don’t have to be a martyr with a cross to bare
Though some believe that’s half way there
The simple rule to reach this bliss
To have the promise of a new day’s kiss
Just be the best that you can muster up
Don’t add to all the drama all the blustered guff
Take wide strides towards the lightness
striving together for our Camelot with this enlightenment
A brightness for a new tomorrow
Is not a thing which can be borrowed

Born in West Chester Pa in 1960 I have been inspired to begin writing again through my interactions with two people I care deeply about that are experiencing the torrents of mental illness.
