Take my hand beloved
I call upon your essence tonight
one last time under the moonlight

fly with this letter I recite
glide this love kite
next to me lands the flight

reminisce and bring you life
you now alive
sunlight fades to back light
twilight brings the midnight

your scent ignites
my heart excites
and your beauty I cannot fight

let all future hold tight
a fairy tale to cite
bear witness to our greatest love life
one last time Darling, oh! what a sight!

let us stain with pains
our glorious days
and the pages of forever will say:
“with a thousand tears I begged her stay
to the lord or the devil I would pray”

whom could ever bring her from away
for this emptiness fills me ill, dismayed

I will take a knife, a promise, not play
to the ceiling aloud say:
“she left my world and I’m astray
emotional bankruptcy, I cannot pay!

If to me she will not sway
my wrist with knife, I’ll fucken slay!”
one last time
I’ll hold you tight
and as our souls unite
know I loved you wife

the first black in files
ask whom the wheels drive
together strive
a destination jive
in avenues filled with love deprived

monitors will beep and dive
I will long my love a reunite
to frail to wake this time

Luiz Syphre

I immigrated to the states from Mexico at age 12 and I quickly fell in love with poetry after my grandfather read some of his poems to me. However, at 18, I had a young family and that left very little time for this endevour as I started working to support us. I returned to adult school to finish my diploma. At that time I developed a severe depression that I still struggle with to this day, but I found it to be a great source of inspiration as well. Today I live in Los Angeles and I'm divorced. I have two children I see whenever possible and two adult kids. Both my Grandfather and his brother are award winning poets and journalists, with one, (Bartolome Delgado DeLeon) having a street, library and a prestigious national poet award in his honor.

Most of my pieces come from personal experience and true to me. Sometimes my material is raw, other times murdeous, and yet other times romantic, but always me, 100% authentic guaranteed.
