The indigo-striped mug was a fortuitous birthday find. On the bottom — Positive Vibes. Purchased and packed. Three-day delivery. The parcel would arrive on time. Moments after a carpool buddy called her with news – a positive Covid test. “Bummer,” she texted in an update. “Praying For Negative Vibes,” I replied as the mail truck approached her drive.
