Words Like Rain
written by: Samantha Beardon
There he sits in the chair
wondering what clothes to wear
his whispered words fall like rain
cruel mischief less than sane
thoughts fly inside his head
he watches as she sleeps in bed
will the whispers twirl and stay
in her head make her obey
he secretly rules her life
manipulation his inner drive
he sits and smiles and just pretends
to be a toy…when at the end
he is the one who holds the key
to fear, rejection and cruelty
Panda bear is sitting in the chair
Wondering what clothes to wear.
