Crying Out Loud

Crying Out Loud

written by: Sue Marie St. Lee

Embrace your Grief,
share it, feed it, recognize it,
only then can you live with it.

For once it finds you,
it is a part of you,
until you die.

Learn to co-exist with it.

It is when you deny it,
that its raging waters
pour down your face,
cry out your mouth,
and spill from your pen.

Learn to say to others
who are crying out loud,
“I know your pain
and I hurt for you.”
