Pale pink rapture
like a warm love bite
Do you remember the verandah???!
Sunday Sunrise caressing the tender wood
Do you remember long vines on the wall????
Like Long slender braids
Do you remember the wine spilled???
Like Memories slaughtered on the floor
Do you remember the boulevard???!
Vacant and empty
the verandah
The wall, the chairs
the Bougainvillea
Turning dark and brown like a parched wound
