Out of Place

Emerald walls close in,
suffocating;
I note
they’re the wrong shade of green.
No one understands me.

This is a poem about my experiences with major depression disorder and anxiety. We all feel out of place at times, some more than others, but know that you are not alone and there is beauty in this world.
