For every single word spoken
On my knees this broken heart bleeds
Praying for those I’ve forsaken
Released the beast her lonely cage
Signals like beacons on fire
Demons playing inside my head
Hiding in shadows are monsters
Promising truths they know are dead
Burning flesh to feel my freedom
Baring naked my soul is lost
Seeking light buried in darkness
Virgin child believes in no one
For every single word spoken
A thousand miles of fervent sighs
Whispered from neath the frozen ground
Wanting and wishing to survive
