Before the Lockdown
Before the Plague
This was us together
Kissing and romancing our last
Before the thunderous pandemic
Before the Meltdown
This was us together
Thinking about our future
Before we said goodbye
To all that we had together
This was us together
Laughing at our pain
I smiled when she said it
Everything all to my face
Like an ice down my spine
The world breaks our heart
Then, I said goodbye
Something we never wished for
Tho we may reign again
Only if we survive the pandemic
It hurts but take it
My heart I give to you
Hold on, if you can
Nevertheless…
