NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A nebulous, smoke-coloured, starry sky. Black, uneven terrain below. In the center sits a black cauldron. Out of this floats a rainbow plume out of the roiling, rainbow substance within. On the ground in front of the cauldron, the multicolour words of the haiku radiate outward in brush-like Caflisch Script Pro Regular font. Created in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
