Sonnet VI

A Lullaby

written by: casual_narratives

When the lullaby of spring lingers on
that deep chasm is flooded with dejection
I sigh for the things forgotten and mourn
And remember her as my companion
Then those yearnings be filled with overflow
The train of life goes with melancholy
But does it only traverse sorrow?
or does life have its moments of glory
Then when her lullabies flood my damn soul
The weight of the heavy burden is lifted
Her lullabies filled my head to sole
Will her songs to the afterlife be carried?
As long as the train of life progresses
Her lullabies will give my life essence
