A Nightmare

A Nightmare

Nothing to say just sit and stare
Feeling bare;
Nothing to do but hopelessly glare
Sitting here cold on my chair;
Before cold concrete stair
Hands through my hair,
And life so unfair
With no-one to care.
A soul who might share
some daily affair;
Sadly, unable to bear
That no-one is there
Who could even compare
With my life so threadbare,
So this is my home where
Everything’s rare
In bleak disrepair;
I now will declare
This has been my nightmare…
