Glitter Eye

written by: A.M. Torres

It wasn't the phone
her tears,

to leave it behind
frustrated tears,

she doesn't know
until the moon fades

A crescent?
a round? The clouds move along.

Frustration spreads
her glittering eyes.

If they understood
her unshed tears.
