HeatWave

reflections of a

heat wave

oh dear a

heat wave

of course

we must be brave

lucky there’s always the

ocean wave

smile

cool waters here

to save

at least we don’t live

in a cave

sunshine is all

the rave

moves all notches up

an octave

it really is what we

all crave

be reminded that

it gave

all we need for the path

we pave

heat wave

maybe not

so grave

could be

a fave!
