I Haven't Said Goodbye

written by: Magdalena Podobińska

I’m moved he found the time
to come and give me a hug

I saw him before I went to sleep
smiling that million-dollar smile
so gentle and warm
as he knew I’m one of his people

I haven’t said goodbye to him
I never will

visions and sounds
that’s what counts
that’s where goes
the beat of our hearts
when we die
