I Love You
written by: Aminath Neena
Did I ever tell you
that the world has waned
to a pair of soft liquid eyes
That reflects my most wanton sighs
Did I ever tell you
That the world has waned
to the charm of honey coated lips
destined to flutter on dewy bewitched sips
Did I ever tell you
that the world has waned
to a silver crested breast
on which these silky curls would take rest
Did I ever tell you
that the world has waned
to a seemingly dimpled chin
that could trample across territories forbidden.
Did I ever tell you
that the world has waned
to a muscle that beats to a combined rhythm
which resonates to my desired algorithm
Did I ever tell you
that the world has waned
to a timeless place of rainbow hue
from which reverberate the words, I love you
