It was not just a line that I wanted to drop
It was a burning desire coming from my heart
That fateful afternoon was a perfect chance
I’d really hope for a little romance
It was not just a note that I wanted you to read
You didn’t have to worry ‘coz I took the lead
Though I was quite surprised with your sweet reply
“Don’t wonder anymore,” you said while you looked into my eyes
It was the sweetest kiss I had ever felt
Those few seconds were far from the lonely world I dwelt
Our lips were locked, precious moment we shared
But after which, not even love was ever declared
I am a father to two lovely girls and currently working in a broadcasting company. I started writing when I was 10 but being an adult caught up with me so my writing stopped and yet I re-started.
