If Only

If only I could seize
the moments of ease
and make the time freeze.
I would give them all to you.
If only I could dream
of an ever flowing stream
where glee rules supreme
I would rid you of the blue.
If only I could write
to bring love and delight
with my words back to life
I would pen each worry of you.
If only I could tell
how hard for you I fell
and the love is real
I would chant I love you!
R.Z.O’Connor, who goes by her initial R, is a Poet, Graphic Designer, and a human trying to find her purpose in life. After experiencing some life-threatening traumas, poetry found her and introduced her to a world of words that she didn’t know existed within her. She has now been published in several anthologies and is set to publish her debut book by the end of 2023.
