I stood on the shore
ready to weather the storm
with that fragile umbrella of hope
long ago
I stood on the shore
between two worlds
and I chose light
it wasn’t light
God knows
now I’m back
with my eyes closed
I’m tapping my heels together three times
please take me home
to your soft gardens of love
