I kinda like being so broken and frayed
It gives me more fuel than most people can fathom.
From the witty madness it sets in my heart-cage
To the bonfire it sparks in my stride.

I kinda like being so broken and frayed
Though I’ve never been anything else.
From using my pieces to make fancy, disgusting art.
To switching emotion quicker than tides.

Though
Then again.
I don’t like being so frayed nor so broken nor so mad as the rooster that screams.
I love it.
Love it like a fool, I have, and always will be.
