Love

Love

“What I have learned, is that my book of life will be weighed for fruit and deeds.”

When I stand before God my record of love will brim with a thousand acts of kindness. The souls that I’ve journeyed with into their final years. It was my pleasure to brighten those final tender moments.

We laughed and hugged, for a while we became special friends, joined together. I’ve brushed your hair, made your beds and cooked up tasty meals. Together we’ve prayed and cleared our plates.

My time has come, tears flow with joy.

In the end, there’s only love.

Her first love is writing and has been honing her craft for many years. With painting her second love, her art is locally recognised for its seascapes. Well travelled, she once took a cruiser out to Alcatraz where she was locked in solitary confinement for an hour. "That hour, felt like days," she recalls with a sense of accomplishment.
