My Hand Is Only Denied

My Hand Is Only Denied

written by: Jerry Langdon

The end, the end of this life
Is only as close as the nearest knife
So cut, please remove my aching heart
Because it’s only falling apart
The end, the end of this life
Is only as close as the nearest knife
So cut, forward me to the other side
But from this side
My hand is only denied
(Oh God make her see)
(She is the world to me)
The end, the end of this pain
Must lie in your domain
The end, the end of this life
Is only as close as the nearest knife
So cut, please remove this aching heart
Because it’s only falling apart
My heart must be made of glass
I feel it cutting me, and I wait for it to pass
The end, the end of this life
Is only as close as the nearest knife
The end, the end of this pain
Must lie in your domain
So cut me, forward me to the other side
From here my hand is only denied
