My Other Self

The cruelest thing I did to my other self,
was not telling her there was no way she could make it,
after losing her first love,
that even though she will move on and find another,
it will never be quite the same,
it was telling her that the only love available to her, was romantic love.

So she ran away from herself, friends, and family,
and moved to a faraway place to escape the hurt she had faced,
but in doing so, she left so much love behind,
she left my love behind,
and now I have no way of calling her back,
or tell her how badly I miss her.
