Only My Fears

written by: Kara Jackman

Don't want anymore problems
Don't want anymore pain.
Just want to keep on living
Just want to be the same.

Why am I still dealing with these issues
I've fought my whole life to overcome?
Every day is more difficult.
The battle will never be won.

The internal scars surface
Taking the shape of anger, anxiety, and tears,
Happiness is elusive,
I have only my fears.
