Penelope and Odysseus

Millions of scents in their reunion,
Penelope and Odysseus.
Their hearts are mellow
and dressed in red
under the light of the living
Night in the storm that demands of velvet
to erase the quest that dried out bodies and hands.
Caressing memories so wavering,
howling bosoms,
silently scream
as the eyes merge with the rain
trying to get their chance
to delete the impure knowledge of men
and unite the souls.
Together, both holy and strangers,
they are tracing forgotten marks
with broken whys.
Why the kindness never smiles?
Why the more the arms get filled the more they empty?
Why should the caress be left unmet?
Why do the time not forget?

ΠΗΝΕΛΟΠΗ ΚΙ ΟΔΥΣΣΕΑΣ

Μύριες ευωδιές στο αντάμωμα
της Πηνελόπης και τ’ Οδυσσέα.
Μεστές οι καρδιές,
στα κόκκινα ντυμένες
κάτω απ’ το φως των ζωντανών.
Νύχτα στην καταιγίδα που βελούδα απαιτεί,
να σβήσει η αναζήτηση που στέγνωσε κορμιά και χέρια.
Θωπεύουσες θύμησες ανασφαλείς,
κραυγάζουσες αγκαλιές,
φωνάζουν σιωπηλές,
καθώς τα μάτια ενώνονται με τη βροχή,
μπας και προλάβουν
ανθρώπων γνώση μιαρή να ακυρώσουν
και τις ψυχές να ενώσουν.
Μαζί οι δυο τους, ιεροί και ξένοι,
ιχνηλατούν σημάδια ξεχασμένα
με πληγωμένα τα γιατί.
Γιατί η καλοσύνη δεν γελά;
Γιατί η αγκαλιά όσο γεμίζει αδειάζει;
Γιατί το χάδι μετέωρο να μένει;
Γιατί ο χρόνος δεν ξεχνά;
